Malindi Golf & Country Club

It is situated on the North Coast, 117km from Mombasa and 500km from Nairobi. It has other facilities including tennis, darts, snooker and a bar as well as clubs for hire.

Founded in 1962, Malindi Golf & Country Club features an interesting 9-hole course with additional Greens and Tees that creates the feeling of a full 18-holes.  The course is built alongside the dunes and then winds its way around forest, lakes and wetlands.

The club has invested heavily in recent years in an irrigation project that sees all Greens watered; this project will gradually extend to all Fairways.

The Club is a member of the Kenya Golf Union (K.G.U) and the Kenya Ladies Golf Union (K.L.G.U) and supports golf activities through its affiliations with these unions.

Visitors are most welcome.

Golf Course

A distinctive course, built in the dunes beside the famous beaches of Malindi on Kenya’s northern coastline, offers a challenging and enjoyable round of golf.

The 9-hole course features a number of iconic holes and with separate tees and some additional greens on the second nine, certainly has the feel of a full 18-hole golf course.

The feature of the course is perhaps six par threes each with its own degree of difficulty.  Four challenging par fives make the course a good test of golf.

The finely contoured greens, a highlight of the course, are laid with Polana and regularly run at 10 feet on the ‘stimpmeter’.
