The 6 Days Jambo Kenya Safari begins in Nairobi, where you’ll be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). Your hotel or lodge accommodation will already be arranged, giving you a comfortable place to relax and spend the day/ night before diving into the next day’s adventures. This safari's experience provides a well-rounded opportunity for a fulfilling vacation, combining exploration, relaxation, and cultural immersion.

This safari is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and also suits corporate groups looking for team-building activities. One of the exciting adventures includes bike riding at Hell’s Gate National Park; a favourite spot for nature lovers and thrill-seekers. While riding through the scenic terrain, you’ll spot wild animals such as Buffaloes, Gazelles, Zebras, and Antelopes. The park is predator-free, making it a safe and enjoyable place to cycle during your safari.

For those seeking deeper engagement, a guided bike tour of Hell’s Gate is also available. Additionally, this tour includes cultural stops at nearby Maasai communities, where you’ll get a chance to learn about the traditional Maasai lifestyle and customs; an enriching addition to your Kenya safari. Whereas, at Lake Naivasha, you’ll enjoy a peaceful boat tour, offering scenic views of the lake’s diverse ecosystem and sightings of wildlife such as Hippos and water birds.

Day-by-day Safari Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL NAIROBI

Arrive at JKIA airport and are received by Diwaka Safaris representative and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel. The remainder of the day at leisure.

Dinner and overnight at your Hotel. 

Day 2: NAIROBI - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park with a stop-over at the view point to view the elevated spectaculars view of the Great Rift Valley. Afterward, proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving on time for lunch. Enjoy afternoon game drive with notable game within the lake including Hippo and Clawless Otters. On the shores roam Waterbuck, Bohor's Reedbuck and Zebra. The woodlands and forest are now home to both black and white Rhino. Buffalo, Leopard, Lion, Rothschild's Giraffe, and Black and White Colobus Monkey are plentiful in the forest. The bush lands offer Eland, Steenbok, Impala, Chandler's Reedbuck and Dik dik, whilst Rock Hyrax and Klipspringer occupy the cliffs and escarpment.

Day 3: LAKE NAKURU - LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Lake Naivasha and upon arrival, prepare for the approx. 03 hours morning boat ride. After the boat ride, settle back to the hotel for Lunch, then later in the afternoon, have an adventurous game drive at Hells gate National Park that is named for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries. Hell's Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley, with spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. In addition to the bio-diversity that includes raptors, visitors can enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing and a natural spa.

Day 4: LAKE NAIVASHA - MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast, check out and commence drive towards Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the Lodge or Camp. Enjoy late afternoon game viewing drive at Masai Mara National Reserve, which was named to mean the “spotted plains” in the Maa language. This is home to large mammals' greatest concentration and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest, breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains, and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape is made up of rolling savannahs dotted with patchy shrubs and bush thickets.

Day 5: FULL DAY MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Spend a further day of game watching with morning and afternoon game drives. Wildlife is abundant in the Reserve, with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific, including immigrants; 450 bird species have been recorded, among them 57 birds of prey. Every year, the Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle; The Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti and the big cats - Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah.

Day 6: DEPARTURE

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight.

Payment policy

  • 30 percent at the time of booking
  • Balance 60 days prior to your arrival

Standard cancellation policy

In the event of cancellation or variation of services for whatever reasons, the Company shall be entitled to charge cancellation fees as set out hereunder:

  • Cancellations received between 60 days to 45 days prior to commencement of Services shall be charged at 30% of the total cost of Services;
  • Cancellation received between 44 days to 8 days prior to commencement of Services shall be charged at 60% of the total cost of Services;
  • Cancellations received within 7 days or after commencement of Services shall be charged at the full cost of Services;
  • The liability to reimburse the Company for the cancellation fees, non-refundable booking fee, no show fees, administration fee and the like, shall in no way limit or restrict the general rights of the Company to collect damages for breach of contract.

Rates are multiplied by the number of travellers. Children are charged at 50% of the adult base rate. Final pricing remains subject to terms and conditions.
