Day-by-day Safari Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL NAIROBI

Upon arrival in Nairobi at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our Customer service officer and be transfered to the Hotel. Balance of the day at leisure for relaxation.

Alternatively, depending on flight arrival:

Enjoy a leisurely tour of Nairobi. Take a visit to the National Museum, Snake Park, and the Giraffe center Sanctuary, to feed the Giraffes. Lunch will be at the Mamba Village, where you also get to see the resident Crocodiles and Ostrich. In the afternoon visit the Nairobi Animal Orphanage and the famous Bomas of Kenya, where you shall learn a lot about different cultures and entertained by cultural dances. Thereafter, return to the hotel in the evening.

Overnight at your city Hotel. 

Day 2: NAIROBI - OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

After breakfast at the Hotel, drive crossing the equator to Ol Pejeta Ranch, to arrive for lunch at your Lodge/ Camp. Take an afternoon boat ride to see Chimpanzees by the river. Proceed on an afternoon game drive. (Optional Activities are available and payable direct.)

 Dinner and overnight at your Lodge/ Camp.

Day 3: OL PEJETA - SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast at the Hotel, commence drive to Samburu National Reserve. Lunch at the Lodge/ Camp. Late afternoon game viewing drive.

Day 4: FULL DAY SAMBURU

On this day, you will spend a full day in Samburu and met by Samburu tribesmen and dressed up for your visit to a Samburu village. Leave the camp and walk to the village, and upon arrival, there will be a welcome song by Samburu women, followed by a briefing of the village. Spend the day with the tribes' people to fetch wood and water. Learn how to make fire the Samburu way (twirling sticks); women will clean milking gourds as the men go outside the village to usher in livestock from grazing. You will be shown to milk the animals (goats) and also participate when the Samburu elders pray and talk about issues concerning the village wellbeing. In the afternoon, learn the Samburu beadwork, leatherwork, weaving hut building, and traditional games. In the early evening, there will be a cultural lecture or storytelling session for everyone, then return to your Lodge/ Camp.

Day 5: SAMBURU - LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast, drive from Samburu to Naivasha, your lodge situated on the hills overlooking Lake Naivasha, one of the many beautiful Rift Valley Lakes, and home to thousands of flamingos and other bird’s animal life. Arrive for a late lunch. Check-in and spend the afternoon to relax.

Day 6: LAKE NAIVASHA

Breakfast at the lodge. In the morning, you will have the opportunity to visit the communities living on Mount Eburru. They are people from the Kikuyu's, Turkana, and Nderobo tribes. The Nderobo are indigenous and most interesting. The two other tribes are new arrivals from different parts of Kenya but are of interest in their own right, this will give you a chance. Return to the lodge for lunch, visit the Crater Lake. Drive back to the lodge.

Day 7: LAKE NAIVASHA - MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast, commence drive south via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the Lodge or Camp. Late afternoon game viewing drive.

Day 8: MASAI MARA

After early morning breakfast, head out for game viewing with lunch at the Lodge/ Camp. Afternoon visit to a traditional Maasai village, a kilometer away from the lodge/ camp and situated in the middle of the Mara, constructed with natural materials from the orange - leafed croton shrubs will give you an experience you have always longed to have. Here you have a chance to interact with people who have maintained their unique cultural ways of life for many decades. Tall and elegant with narrowly plaited hair painted in red ochre, the village warriors (Moran) perform cultural dances thrilling to the bottom of the heart, leaving you with lasting memories to take home. Return to your lodge/ camp with a game drive en-route.

Day 9: DEPARTURE

After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp, embark on your return journey to Nairobi.

Payment policy

  • 30 percent at the time of booking
  • Balance 60 days prior to your arrival

Standard cancellation policy

In the event of cancellation or variation of services for whatever reasons, the Company shall be entitled to charge cancellation fees as set out hereunder:

  • Cancellations received between 60 days to 45 days prior to commencement of Services shall be charged at 30% of the total cost of Services;
  • Cancellation received between 44 days to 8 days prior to commencement of Services shall be charged at 60% of the total cost of Services;
  • Cancellations received within 7 days or after commencement of Services shall be charged at the full cost of Services;
  • The liability to reimburse the Company for the cancellation fees, non-refundable booking fee, no show fees, administration fee and the like, shall in no way limit or restrict the general rights of the Company to collect damages for breach of contract.

Safari Pricing

From USD 2,926

Rates are multiplied by the number of travellers. Children are charged at 50% of the adult base rate. Final pricing remains subject to terms and conditions.
