Kisampa Camp

Kisampa Camp

Descriprtion

Kisampa is a private community conservation sanctuary that adjoins the coastal Saadani National Park in eastern Tanzania. We, the Barbour Family, have made our passion for conservation into one of our life priorities.

Rooms

Our wilderness, eco friendly lodge is comfortably rustic in its simplicity, maintaining our desire to leave a minimal human footprint in this pristine area. It is available for anyone visiting to help out with the conservancy. You will sleep in a simple stargazer tent or ‘banda’, with your bed area protected by a mosquito net. There is plenty of space for lying in your hammock or sitting at your small work desk.

Each banda or tent has its own bathroom set into the surrounding bush. A bush shower bucket hangs from a tree, and hot water is delivered for bathing at your request. No flushing toilets here, to limit water use; so each banda has a composting toilet.

We wanted to do safari with my wife in Kenya. Diwaka Safaris organized our trip for 17 days professionally. We were very satisfied with all services. The best part was our guide Patrick Waweru who did an excellent job.
