Sleeping Warrior

Sleeping Warrior

Descriprtion

The Sleeping Warrior Tented Camp is another location for a tranquil Elementaita trip in East Africa. Perched on a rocky outcrop, the camp is sheltered by Leleshwa trees. The reception, lounge and bar are located in the main house that faces a watering hole. Since many animals arrive to drink in the mornings and evenings, you can just sit back and watch them.

The hotel is located off the main Nairobi-Nakuru highway just outside of Nakuru town and is situated on a wooded avenue in the upscale Milimani area adjacent to the State House.

Rooms

4 tented rooms that have thatched roofs, canvas walls, netted windows with en-suite bathrooms for your stay. The camp also offers a spacious stone guesthouse that has a lounge room that can be adapted into a twin room. Also, available is a triple-bed room in the Lakeview stone built cottage with a forward-facing canvas. If you are looking for a romantic night under the stars, you can opt for the Eagle’s Nest settled on a stony hill.

We wanted to do safari with my wife in Kenya. Diwaka Safaris organized our trip for 17 days professionally. We were very satisfied with all services. The best part was our guide Patrick Waweru who did an excellent job.
