Wilderness Camp

Located on the Ntungwe River within Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha Wilderness Camp is our favorite tented camp in the area. The 10 en-suite tents are quite large and offer flush toilets and running water while still maintaining the camp’s low-impact ideology. The public areas are very inviting and feature beautifully crafted wooden furniture and local art. Overlooking the river and gorgeous scenery is a lovely spot for sundowners and a fire pit where guests can congregate.

Rooms

ten spacious tented rooms create a true refuge in the wilderness. Large, mosquito-netted beds look out onto private verandas with beautiful river views. Simple but elegant interiors, as well as hot bush showers and flushing toilets ensure a taste of pure comfort in this wild setting.
