Itinerary

08:30 hours. Depart your hotel and drive through the beautiful landscape of the Kikuyu farmlands before descending to the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley past the extinct volcanoes of Longonot and Suswa, to Narok for picnic lunch. After lunch continue across the Loita Plains pasts occupied and abandoned manyattas [the nomadic Maasai villages] plastered with cow dung. On arrival in Maasai Mara proceed on for a game drive. Dinner and overnight at our campsite. [Approx 5 hours drive]

A full day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game, black manned lion, leopard, cheetah & elephants. All meals at the campsite.

Early morning game drive, return to the campsite for breakfast and leave for Nairobi (enjoying a picnic lunch en route) to arrive by 4 p.m.
