Wild Africa Lodge

Wild Africa Lodge is located on the northern shore of Lake Manyara, only few kilometres from the town of Mto wa Mbu.

The layout of the lodge is a tribute to indigenous architectural traditions. Beyond the superb standards of service offered, there is a spirit of tranquility that prevails... Skip and Kelly, the managers, are welcoming you with warm hospitality.

The lodge consists of 9 tented thatched cottages and 1 tented-thatched luxury honeymoon suite. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and private verandas. Most cottages overlook the gardens and beyond with view to Lake Manyara and the land of the Maasai people.

The extraordinary bird life at the lodge and in the surrounding National Parks is well known by ornithologists, who come to observe the stands of pink flamingos and great birds of prey present in Lake Manyara National Park and where a good variety of game reside (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo jackal, hyena, mongoose, giraffe & hippo).
