African safari is an expedition or a trip, usually by tourists, to observe animals in their natural habitat. These natural habitats can be national parks or game reserves such as Masai Mara in Kenya, and Serengeti in Tanzania. Of course, you've heard about African safaris and seen photos of celebrities looking glamourous on wildlife safaris in Africa. We'll tell you all about African safaris in this post and explain what a wildlife safari is like for most travelers (mere mortals) nowadays. It is a journey in Africa that involves spending some time in the bush watching wild animals. So, basically, a safari is any trip into the wilderness to see wildlife. That's quite a narrow definition though. One that has evolved and expanded over the years to mean more than it once did.

We wanted to do safari with my wife in Kenya. Diwaka Safaris organized our trip for 17 days professionally. We were very satisfied with all services. The best part was our guide Patrick Waweru who did an excellent job.
