10 Days Best of Kenya safari and Uganda tour starting from Rwanda to Bwindi forest for gorilla trekking and fly for Kenya safari visiting the best Kenyan national parks including Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli national park, offering 100% chance of seeing “the big five” and many other species of game, it’s a land of the magical great wildebeest migration in July and August and mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest starting from Kigali – Rwanda crossing over to Uganda to trek gorillas and back to Kigali to fly with RwandAir to Nairobi for your safari in Masai Mara national park.
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport. Met by Diwaka Safaris representative at the Airport and transferred by our driver / guide to your Nairobi hotel. Use of room is not guaranteed before noon.

Overnight at CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL / SAFARI PARK HOTEL / SOUTHERN SUN HOTEL / NAIROBI SERENA / STANLEY HOTEL / PANAFRIC HOTEL / RED COURT HOTEL (B/B)
Breakfast at the camp; afterwards drive to the base hotel. Relax as you prepare for the climb. Lunch at the base Hotel. Then drive to Sirimon Park gate (2600m). On completion of park entry formalities, begin a 3-4 hour hike through forest. Ascend 700m bypassing the bamboo, rosewood and heather zones to Old Moses camp. The forest and bamboo are home to hundreds of buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks and a plethora of bird species.
Dinner and overnight at OLD MOSES CAMP (3300m)
A long day leading to the base of the high peaks. Today's trek is largely through the moorlands and the Mackinder Valley, with good views of the main peaks and a brief stopover for picnic lunch. Total walking time is approx. 7 hours gaining 900m in altitude.
Dinner and Overnight at SHIPTON'S HUT (4200m)
Pre-dawn attempt of the summit starts at 0300hrs and you hike for about 3 hours up steep scree slopes and across rugged rocks up to Pt. Lenana (4985m), the hikers' summit. Then down through Lewis Glacier up to the Austrian hut to join to the Naromoru track and descend for 2 hours to Mackinder's camp for breakfast then have the rest of the day at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at MACKINDERS CAMP (4300m)
Leaving early, you gradually descend for 4-5 hours through the moorlands and the lower vertical bog up to the Met Station, from where you walk down on a wide dirt road leading to the Naromoru Park gate (2600m) where you meet our vehicle. Depart for Nairobi, On arrival in Nairobi transfer to Jomo Kenyatta Intl. Airport for your scheduled international departure flight to Entebbe Uganda. On Arrival at the airport in Uganda you will be met by the Uganda Guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala.
Overnight in SHERATON HOTEL (B/B).
In the morning right after breakfast you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP. The drive will take you 6 hours to reach the park in the afternoon. You will check in your lodge to have lunch and then late r go for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel. The launch cruise will enable you view animals like the buffaloes at the shores, hippos and plenty of birds for birders.
Overnight at MWEYA SAFARI LODGE (F/B).
In the morning before sunrise you will go for a game drive in the park searching for animals like the elephants Lions, leopards, hyenas, warthogs, antelopes and many more. You will return form the game drive f or late breakfast at your lodge before you drive to Bwindi. Time permitting you may go for a game drive in the Ishasha sector to search for tree climbing lions. Later on you will proceed to reach Bwindi in the afternoon.
Overnight at GORILLA RESORT LODGE (F/B).
In the morning after breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before you proceed to the park in search for the giant apes. The time taken before encountering the gorillas varies and it ranges from 2 hours to 9 hours. Therefore you will have to carry packed lunch. On meeting the gorillas you will be allowed to spend one hour with them and then later return to your lodge.
Overnight at GORILLA RESORT LODGE (F/B).
In the morning after breakfast you will transfer to Kampala. The drive takes 9-12 hours depending on the weather, to reach in the evening. You will be transferred to your Hotel.
Overnight at SHERATON HOTEL / HOLIDAY EXPRESS HOTEL (B/B)
Depending on your flight departure time you may go for a city tour to go visit the National museum, the Bahai temple and the Kasubi tombs for an insight in the Ugandan culture. Later on you will be transferred to the Airport for you flight back home.

Decided to do one a early Jan before the corona nightmare...wasnt decided on the exact itinerary especially the accommodation to choose...did my own research and decided on the ones I could get though decided they can also advice on what they had in mind so that we could compare prices as well as I could get to check on their diff reviews...was a 4 nights trip just Naivasha where we stayed at Naivasha Sopa and Mara at Ashnil..loved ashnil way better cos of the views as well what we got to see the in terms of wildlife..
