Above the shores of Lake Naivasha set in a private 18,000-acre wildlife conservancy, Chui Lodge is a veritable oasis in the Rift Valley's dry escarpment country. The inspiration for the lodge's creation emanated from the Zager family and involved the local community and skilled artisans. Chui Lodge is built from simple bush stone, local Acacia, Olive, and Leleshwa woods with a twisted marula roof. There are 8 en suite individual and well-spaced luxurious cottages, each with its own veranda and views of the Rift Valley escarpment and the conservancy.

The Rooms

Five (plus one for children) breathtaking cottages, each individually designed with four poster beds, roaring log fireplaces and luxurious ensuite bathrooms. Each cottage has it's own veranda with fabulous views over the Mau Escarpment.

Room Dcor: The marble basin tops, roaring log fires, painted windows and magnificent four poster olive wood King sized beds ensure the essential touch of luxury.

Special Feature: Chui Lodge is set in Kongoni Game Sanctuary which is home to some of Kenya's rarer species such as White Rhino, Leopard, Cheetah, Oryx, Grevy Zebra and many more. Kongoni has 44 different mammal and over 300 identified bird species.

Outstanding professionally trained chefs deliver an exquisite array of cuisine to suit all tastes. the emphasis is on diverse multi-culture cuisine, which is made possible with an extensive kitchen and a Tapinyaki hot-plate.

Chui Lodge is built from simple bush stone, local Acacia, Olive, and Leleshwa woods with a twisted marula roof.There are 8 en suite individual and well-spaced luxurious cottages each with its own veranda and views of the Rift Valley escarpment and the conservancy.The bedrooms have magnificent four-poster king-size olive wood beds, roaring log fires, artistically decorated artwork, and handcrafted furniture made in our onsite workshop.

The dining room, lounge and bar area feature pillars and mural with intricate African carvings, African antiques and ochre colored walls creating the feel of an artist's gallery.A short walk from the main building and cottages is a heated swimming pool with views across the waterhole. The conservancy beyonChef Richard Langat heads cateringat features an array of international cuisine with many ingredients sourced locally, including vegetables, fruits and dairy products from our own farm. A tepinyaki hot plate caters for those who would like something different. In our continuing quest for sustainable conservation and sensible environmental management all electricity used at Chui Lodge comes from the geothermal power station at Oserian Flowers.
