Cote d'Or Footprints

Cote d'Or Footprints

Côte d’Or Footprints offers ten chalets on Côte d’Or Beach, Praslin. The architecture, although in concrete, reflects the old-style Creole buildings of our ancestors. They are set in a landscaped garden and are all elegantly decorated and equipped with all modern conveniences.Deemed the most touristic of our115 islands, Praslin offers the tourist’s dream holiday! Just 36 km from Mahé, with air shuttles and luxurious high speed ferries you can find yourself in Paradise in no time. Yes, Praslin with its famous Coco-de-Mer growing wild in the renowned, lush Vallée d Mai, has been named the original Garden of Eden.

Côte d’Or Footprints is a family- owned establishment located right on Côte d’Or Beach. Historically, the official name of this beach is Anse Volbert, named after Auguste VAULBERT, one of the first French settlers of the area. The name Côte d’Or was given to this estate by its original owner, Charles JOUANIS, grand-father to the present owners.. Our salt-water pool is set right in the centre of the establishment… the perfect location to allow you a clear view of your kids having fun. Enjoy a fresh-water shower: the ultimate tropical experience Côte d’Or Footprints offers ten individual Chalets/Villas all hugging this most beautiful beach of Côte d’Or. We wanted to do safari with my wife in Kenya. Diwaka Safaris organized our trip for 17 days professionally. We were very satisfied with all services. The best part was our guide Patrick Waweru who did an excellent job.
