Dik Dik Hotel is located on the outskirts of Arusha, Tanzania. Because all northern Tanzania safaris and tours for Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Mount Kilimanjaro climb start from Arusha, Dik Dik Hotel can be requested as your preferred safari accommodation on your first night in Africa.

Dik Dik Hotel and Restaurant, built and managed by a Swiss family opened its doors in 1990. The hotel is situated at 1100 meters (3600 feet) above sea level at the foot of Mount Meru, half way between Arusha and Kilimanjaro International Airport. The hotel takes its name from one of the smallest gazelles in Africa, which live on the nearby mountain slopes.

NUMBER OF ROOMS: 09 Bungalows with two double rooms in each thus a total of 18 double rooms. Room dcor: cozy bungalows with light colors matching the surrounding greenery. Room amenities: With modern comforts and conveniences including a mini bar, fireplace and personal veranda with hammock.

Special features: Ideal for start or end of safaris on the Northern Circuit.

Food & Drink

The Swiss-built hotel restaurant was opened in 1990 and is managed by a Swiss family. Guests enjoy the highest standards of service in Tanzania. The restaurant is situated in beautiful grounds, Bird Lake, at the foot of the Mount Meru.
