Location

Heliconia Grove is a self-catering establishment consisting of 8 individual villas spread across 13,000 square metres of landscaped gardens with emphasis on keeping nature in the foreground.

The grounds include 100 metres of beach frontage on Cote D'or, arguably the safest and one of the most beautiful beaches on Praslin, the second largest granitic island of the Seychelles archipelago.

Praslin is accessible from Seychelles International Airport by air (15 minutes) or by high speed ferry (60 minutes). Banks, shops, restaurants and a variety of sea and land activities are within a 10 minutes stroll on the un-spoilt pristine Cote D'or beach while the famed "Valle de Mai -World Heritage site" is only a 15 minute drive by car from Heliconia.

Hotel Description

All the villas are equipped with the most modern eco-friendly cooking facilities. The kitchen and living rooms are totally separate from the air-conditioned en- suite bedrooms which are furnished with king sized beds exquisitely decorated with surrounding mosquito netting. Except for the 3-bedroomed log cabin comprising an immense open verandah, all other villas have their own open air deck with sun loungers and a "plunge pool" fitted with UV clarifier to avoid excessive use of chemicals.

All villas are equipped with solar based hot water systems while a bank of 40 photo-voltaic panels provide over 30% of the estimated electricity consumption. The architecture is Seychellois-creole with exposed wooden roof structure ensuring a serene and relaxing atmosphere.

Accommodation

• Single Bedroom Villas ( 6 x Nos) –75 sm each; Sleep 2 Adults + 1 child and consist of:
  • A very spacious air-conditioned bedroom (35 sm) with ceiling fans and en-suite bathroom with full king size double bed(2.000m x 1.850 m) and a separate couch (1.600 m x 0.800 m)
  • A separate fully equipped kitchen and dining/ TV room together with open air deck with sun- loungers and a private ‘plunge pool’ compliment the ‘ensemble’.
  • Two Bedroom Villa (1 x No)—120 sm; Sleep 4 adults + 2 children and consists of:
    • One bedroom (35 sm) with king size double bed (2.000 m x 1.850 m), air-conditioned with ceiling fans, and en-suite bathroom and couch (1.600 m x 0.800 m)
    • One bedroom (35 sm) with twin beds (1.900 m x 0.900 m), air-conditioned with ceiling fan, and en- suite bathroom and couch (1.600 m x 0.800 m)
    • Separate spacious living/ dining/ TV room with fully equipped kitchen and large open-air deck with sun loungers and a private ‘plunge pool’ compliment the ‘ensemble’.
    • Three Bedroom Villa (1 x No) (150 sm) consists of : (sleeps 6 pax)
      • Two air-conditioned bedrooms with king size double bed each (2.000 m x 1.850 m), ceiling fan and en-suite bathroom
      • One air-conditioned bedroom with 2 x single beds, ceiling fan and en-suite bathroom
      • Very spacious living/ TV room and large fully equipped kitchen
      • Immense covered veranda with full sitting and dining
