Il Ngwesi Eco Lodge is a unique Maasai community-owned and run eco-lodge perched dramatically on a rocky escarpment at the edge of the Mararoi hills close to the Ngare Ndare River in northern Laikipia, Kenya (2.5 hours from Nanyuki). Built entirely from local materials on the Il Ngwesi Group Ranch (8,645 hectares), the lodge offers breathtaking views of the Mukogodo Forest and surrounding wilderness.
