A small luxurious tented camp in the shadows of Mount Kenya at the foot of an indigenous forest overlooking a waterhole. Six sumptuous tented suites provide the ultimate bush experience for a maximum of twelve guests.
The majority of the tents are in secluded positions overlooking the plains and nearby hills, while others are closer together for families or friends. Triple and Quad tents (1 double & 2 single beds) are also available. The spacious Kicheche Mara Camp Nyati tent acts as the camp lounge with comfortable seating, a library, board games, cards and local crafts.
Kicheche Mara Camp spacious, fully insect-proof Selous style tents (eleven twins/doubles), equipped with cedar beds, linen, bedside tables, luggage racks and rugs. Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with a dresser, shower and flushing toilet and running water. There are canvas directors and deck chairs on the veranda and hammocks slung between nearby trees. Triple tents and family tents (1 double & 2 single beds) are available on request.
Kicheche Mara Camp cooks produce delicious and healthy meals, and the menu features both African and international dishes. Fresh produce is flown in regularly and bread and pastries are baked daily.

Kicheche Mara Camp early morning and late afternoon are the most productive hours for game drives and the safari customized 4WD vehicles give guests a perfect view.Watching wildlife at close range, but without encroaching on their space, is endlessly fascinating and our guides' instincts and experience provide superb photo opportunities of wild animals.
Kicheche Mara Camp vehicles are superbly designed for photographers; all our fleet is open-sided with open roofs. Cameras can be rested on the roof, with supplied beanbags, or on the armrests lower down, to which we can mount simple platforms for larger lenses.Kicheche Mara Camp is a classic tented camp hidden in a grove of wild olive and croton trees in a prime wildlife area of the northern Mara plains. The camp is fully hosted and limited to twenty two guests.

Decided to do one a early Jan before the corona nightmare...wasnt decided on the exact itinerary especially the accommodation to choose...did my own research and decided on the ones I could get though decided they can also advice on what they had in mind so that we could compare prices as well as I could get to check on their diff reviews...was a 4 nights trip just Naivasha where we stayed at Naivasha Sopa and Mara at Ashnil..loved ashnil way better cos of the views as well what we got to see the in terms of wildlife..
