This luxury camp, situated on the border of Bwindi National Park, is an ideal base for your gorilla tracking experience. Accommodation consists of luxury tents of either double or twin beds. Each tent contains a shower / bath and running toilet. A verandah in front of each tent provides a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views of the forest. Solar powered lights provide illumination inside each tent and bathroom. Meals are all included and are served by extremely friendly staff at the main mess tent.
The Camp has a total of 20 Luxurious tents which are self contained and are named after Ugandan bird species. The Camp has been carefully designed to blend the natural environment which provides luxury hospitality to all guests.
The tents are well equipped with comfortable beds and furniture. All beds are designed purposely to ensure your comfort. The bathrooms are fitted with hot / cold showers and bath tabs. It has 24 hours solar power running No detail has been overlooked in the refurbishment of these magnificent tents. This includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Unlimited Juice, Tea/Coffee plus House wines on the last day.
The Bar has been refurbished to suit your highest expectations. It over looks the forest. The evening breeze from the forest will relax you after Gorilla tracking. Drinks range from soft drinks, beers, Sherries, wines, spirits to mention but a few. The bar is well stocked and open from 9 am to mid night with an exciting view and atmosphere.

Picnic lunches are provided for the gorilla tracking day. The campsite also provides basic camping facilities for passing travelers. Gorilla Tracking Uganda’s Sarah Chatteris visited the camp in Oct 2006: I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Lake Kitandara Camp. It was clean and comfortable and far more luxurious than I had expected. Decided to do one a early Jan before the corona nightmare...wasnt decided on the exact itinerary especially the accommodation to choose...did my own research and decided on the ones I could get though decided they can also advice on what they had in mind so that we could compare prices as well as I could get to check on their diff reviews...was a 4 nights trip just Naivasha where we stayed at Naivasha Sopa and Mara at Ashnil..loved ashnil way better cos of the views as well what we got to see the in terms of wildlife..
