Bahari started out as a small restaurant in 1989 but has been extended with five double ensuite bedrooms. On the first floor, raised above beach level, there is a stunning, edgeless, fresh water swimming pool. It has a sunbathing ledge, a sheltered bar room and low comfortable baraza seats.
SPECIAL FEATURE: Dhows make regular stops to Shela so it is easy to ride into Lamu or you can walk the shore path and take in the scenery.
Fish, lobster, crab and fresh oysters. Wine and spirits are not included. Excellent international cuisine and Swahili fish.
