Sunset Bay Hotel opened in December 2006. It is situated on the northern part (NUNGWI) of the island of Zanzibar, one hour drive from the Airport and Stone Town.

The Rooms

The hotel offers 40 rooms on two levels in double storey cottages with 4 rooms each.

Food & Drink

The Restaurant and Bar enjoy magnificent views over the gardens to the sea. The hotel operates as an all inclusive facility offering breakfast, lunch and dinner with an all day supply of perfectly chilled bottled water, all soft drinks and excellent beers. The cuisine has an international flair taking into cognizance the abundance of sea food available on the island with the unusual slipper lobster being a speciality. Local coffee as well as espresso and cappuccino are available at the bar which is stacked with a wide range of excellent Italian and South African wines and the usual well known spirits.

There are many sumptuous buffets, not to overlook a special Pizza corner.Toes-in-the sand is a popular mid-day culinary and refreshment feature. In the evenings smart casual is the normal attire.
