Tijara Beach

Tijara Beach

Descriprtion

This lodge is a wonderful creation of seclusion and peace, with stunning rooms in a traditional Swahili style. It is the smallest property that we feature on Kenya’s coast and about as exclusive as it gets without going down the private villa route.

Rooms

Tijara Beach is an exclusive private home that offers 4 exceptional luxury cottages spread a good distance apart to ensure your privacy. Each cottage is sited on its own cliff head with large open decks that give breath-taking views of the Indian Ocean. Insect-proof king size beds with exclusively handcrafted Swahili furniture reflect the warmth and character of the local architecture. A magnificent fresh water swimming pool and ‘al fresco’ dining area complete this enchanting resort.

All the cottages are spacious with large decked verandas you can step on to from both the room and the bathroom. All cottages are en-suite with double wash basins, double showers and uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean from wherever you are. There is a beautiful Honeymoon Cottage that is ideal for a private and romantic getaway.

We wanted to do safari with my wife in Kenya. Diwaka Safaris organized our trip for 17 days professionally. We were very satisfied with all services. The best part was our guide Patrick Waweru who did an excellent job.
