Sandai Resort

Sandai Resort is a beautiful hidden-gem lakeside resort nestled near the serene shores of Lake Baringo, one of the five great lakes at the heart of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya. The resort is located just a 10-minute drive from Marigat Town, 107 km from Nakuru Town, and approximately four and a half hours drive from Nairobi (554 km north). It sits at the shore of Lake Baringo overlooking Ol Kokwe and several other islands in Lake Baringo, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The resort recently completed extensive renovations to upgrade the look and feel of rooms, with each room now featuring modern amenities including air conditioning to ensure a comfortable stay. Accommodation includes Standard Twin Rooms with pool view and terrace with lake views (2 beds), Large Double Rooms with air conditioning and terrace with lake view (1 bed), Standard Queen Rooms with terrace with lake views (1 bed), and Tree Bedroom Apartments with private entrance, 3 separate bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen with refrigerator, and lake views (8 beds) for families or groups of up to six individuals.

Check-in is from 08:00 and check-out until 10:00. The resort was established in 2015, only 400 metres to the shores of Lake Baringo.
