Arusha Coffee Lodge is an idyllic, boutique lodge hidden amongst the sprawling grounds of Tanzania's largest coffee plantation, set below the rugged peaks of Mount Meru in Arusha, Tanzania. Guest accommodation consists of 18 rooms and 12 suites (30 Plantation Cottages/Houses total), all housed within buildings resembling traditional plantation lodgings with red-brick walls and terracotta-tile roofs, radiating out into evergreen coffee fields around the original owner's home dating back to the early 1900s. Each exclusive Plantation Suite boasts a romantic four-poster bed draped in Egyptian cotton linen, split-level sitting area, en-suite bathroom, open fireplace, personal bar, and private veranda looking out onto rows of berry-laden coffee bushes.

The main area of the lodge comprises a spa, outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, café bistro, and cozy lounge, all featuring inviting open log fires to warm guests from the cool night air. The restaurant serves scrumptious meals, while the café bistro offers all-day dining. Guests can enjoy delicious food in the Coffee Lodge lounge or sip favorite drinks in the bar area. A charming garden terrace provides the perfect setting for al fresco dining, and meals can be served on private balconies on request. The lodge also features a boutique collection of Tanzanian shops and gourmet eateries known as Traders Walk, including Shanga (a beading workshop run by Tanzanians with disabilities) and Kahawa (a coffee shop with freshly brewed coffee and home-baked cakes).
