Lake Duluti Lodge

Lake Duluti Lodge is a tranquil, 5-star boutique lodge situated at the foot of scenic Mount Meru, just outside Arusha town in northern Tanzania. Named after the picturesque crater lake on which it stands, the lodge is located in a safe and exclusive area on the outskirts of Arusha, offering a quiet slice of serenity after a long flight or at the end of a busy safari. The lodge aims to make guests feel like they are staying at home rather than at a top-end hotel, while offering fine cuisine, highly personalized service, and top-class amenities.

Rooms

The lodge comprises 18-19 spacious contemporary African-styled romantic chalets/suites (sources vary slightly) ideally positioned for maximum privacy and views inside the coffee farm. Each chalet is positioned to face the coffee farm with a private deck/terrace offering amazing views of ancient indigenous trees found in big numbers within the farm. All chalets feature a bedroom, lounge, en-suite bathroom with enormous bathtubs and rain showers, polished wood floors, African-inspired décor, air conditioning, satellite TV, and tea/coffee-making facilities. The interiors are a unique marriage of African grandeur and modern design, with spacious and romantic chalets positioned for privacy.

Dining

The main lodge is set in the middle of idyllic gardens and has a library, gift shop, small spa, and dining room. The polished dining room serves delicious meals using ingredients from the kitchen's gardens – the chef and team combine the best international and African cuisine to produce memorable meals with homegrown produce and fresh herbs from the garden. Daily-changing menus feature flavor-packed cuisine, and special dietary requirements can be catered for with notice. Guests can also opt for a light snack down by the lakeshore, which is highly recommended, or enjoy a delightful sundowner lounge by the lakeshore to unwind and soak up the views.

The lodge features an infinity swimming pool where guests can relax, and beautiful gardens with views of Lake Duluti in the background. The 30 acres of coffee plantations surround the property, and as the coffee plantation is still operating, this adds dimension to your stay.
