Arusha Serena Hotel is a village-styled lodge nestled on the wooded slopes of Mount Meru beside Lake Duluti, just outside Arusha town in northern Tanzania. Built on the site of a former coffee farm dating back to colonial times, the hotel features 42 cottage-styled rooms grouped in clusters around central 'village' squares, echoing the traditional style of the original colonial coffee farm. Accommodation includes 42 non-smoking rondavels (circular rooms) divided into 6 superior rooms and 36 twins, plus family rooms accommodating 3-6 people. The thatched-roof bungalows are thatched with banana stems and decorated with rich local crafts, featuring spacious rooms with private shower/bath (sunken baths in suites), separate toilets, mosquito nets, Wi-Fi connectivity, complimentary mineral water, toiletries, hair dryers, and work desks.
