Siringit Serengeti Camp

Siringit Serengeti Camp is a luxury tented camp nestled in the heart of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania's central Serengeti, just 6km east of Seronera Airstrip and one hour drive from Nabi Hill (the gateway entrance to the park). The camp opened in August 2017 as a brand-new addition to the luxury safari circuit, offering classic tented East African panache in an ideal setting renowned for natural beauty and abundant wildlife. Located in the central Serengeti area known for magnificent year-round wildlife viewing, guests witness the drama of the Great Migration from the comfort of this luxury camp with panoramic views across the plains.

Rooms

The camp consists of 8-10 exclusive luxury canvas tents (sources vary), including one 2-bedroom family tent, each measuring 45 square meters and built on raised wooden platforms/decks to reduce environmental impact and prevent "grass burn." Tents are well decorated in traditional building style, elegantly furnished with en-suite bathrooms featuring clean flushing toilets, dual vanities, large showers with hot and cold running water, and sinks. Each tent has solar energy, mosquito nets wrapped around beds, free toiletries, complimentary bottled water, large sitting areas, and private verandas with comfortable lounge chairs for relaxing while overlooking spectacular views over the Serengeti plains and wildlife roaming around the camp.

Facilities

The camp's heart is the well-proportioned, comfortably furnished lounge tent with a covered veranda boasting stunning views over the Serengeti plains. The dining tent and veranda provide panoramic views where guests gather for delicious meals prepared by the chef. The camp aesthetically blends with the natural landscape and operates with environmental protection in mind – entirely solar-powered with all structures raised off the ground to minimize environmental impact. The camp is small, intimate, and charming with a very special style, secluded and very private despite convenient location.

About

The camp is located in the central Serengeti perfect with tons of wildlife and beautiful sceneries in surrounding areas, close to Hippo Pools. Guests can enjoy the endless African sky in tranquil settings with fine whisky or cocktails, or take game drives in the camp's own safari vehicle to spot lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, or black rhino. Activities include game drives and optional hot air balloon safaris. The natural beauty and abundance of wildlife make this a wonderful base for your time in the Serengeti, with year-round game viewing in the magnificent central Serengeti area.

The camp is operated by Siringit Collection, which runs unique and beautiful properties across Serengeti National Park. Access is by 6-hour drive from Arusha town or 1-2 hour flight from Arusha to Seronera Airstrip followed by a few-minute drive transfer to camp.
